Made my Da y

Just had to share because this totally made my day.

So because of the pregnancy and miscarriage I have not worked out in 3 weeks. I know!!! I was obsessed with it and then nothin. So I've been feeling fat and feeling like I'm losing all the muscle tone I'd built up. Not the best feeling. On top of out of control hormones :)
So anyways, today was my first run back. I have major shin splints that my AMAZING massage therapist has been helping me with. I figured it wouldn't be a great run. First mile 9:17! Yay!I was feeling great. I get to my 1.5 mile marker an it's a quarter mile straight up hill. I whossed out and started speed walking it. Literally my second step of walking this blonde girl, with amazing tight, toned perfect legs goes past me. I literally thought "stupid size 2 perfect tan body blonde. I can do it too!" So I got right back running. She is ahead of me as we head from the street into the park. I see these 2 older gentlemen walking and talking. She goes by them, I get close to them and the older one stops me. Big smile on his face, not in a creepy way, And says; "Good Morning. I just wanted to tell you, you have the most beautiful legs."
WHAT?! Did you see the girl 50 yrds ahead of me? That's what I wanted to say.
But I graciously smiled and thanked him and finished my 3 mile run. (in 29 minutes I should add!)
He totally made my day! No my legs aren't perfect, ok, maybe my calves are... JK! Just made me realize, you know what, I am pushing 30. I have 3 tiny kids, and I am just now putting myself first. Damn right I am lookin good!
I love that man for building my self esteem today when I needed it :D
Happy Wednesday!
