In 3 Minutes

This is why bed rest with this baby is IMPOSSIBLE!
So I was having a few contractions again and kids had just woken from naps. SO I locked them out of the kitchen and had everything put away. I was SURE there was nothing they could get in to. So I started a movie for them and went to my bed to lay on a heating pad. Literally 3 minutes later, I look into the hall to just check on them and I see smoke! First thought- The Christmas tree is on fire!!! So I get up and run into the living room to find this...

An entire bottle of baby powder all over- and I mean ALL over the living room. It was like a huge dust cloud! And the kids were wreswtling in it on the floor. Normally this would have made me so mad, but when your 4yr old and your 2 yr old look up to see you and they are ghost white from the powder- head to toe! How do you not laugh?! So then being pregnant, I peed my pants from laughing so hard and got the camera out. These are the types of events I love to scrap. Someday these pages with their trouble causing will come in really handy! I am thinking when I am a grandma and kids are their ages I can give their kids some good payback ideas. :) tee hee!

And yes, Daddy came home just as I started cleaning. I won't say what he said! LOL I did get mad though. It took us an hour to clean up. Not to mention it gave me more contractions and lots of back pain.

I guess i can NEVER leave them alone.

That is so funny and so so sad at the same time! It is true, they don't take long at all, do they? Yesterday I was trying to lay down, and I thought, wow the kids are being amazing! When I came out Kendall was painting the carpet with my hot pink nail polish. Please let me know if I can ever help with your kids, I think they would all love to play together, and you could take it easy!! How many weeks are you??

Oh my. Nail polish is a bear to get out too! Our kids would have fun together. We should do a play date for them. I am 30 weeks today. So we are expecting her in about 7 weeks :)

Oh my!!! Shades of Justin! It had to be Damons extraveganza!

And then it was April with the nail polish---applying it to her eyelashes ---she thought it was mascara!

I lived through it with 7 of ya so I suspect you'll make it too. Not sure why God sends us little imps when we are Preggo too! Hee!Hee!

That's great! What a mess to clean up though. I guess baby powder is way better then smoke. I love that you peed your pants from laughing so hard! The joys of being pregnant! Those pictures will definitely have to be used in the future. The footprint picture is my favorite.
