Christmas Extravaganza

Here's a look back to catch us all up on our Christmas Happenings.
(maybe I will actually even catch up on Thanksgiving before the New Year!)

SANTA: The kids were hilarious. In previous years crying and screaming was involved on both kids parts. So to test the waters this year, while at mall I told them we would go sneak a peek at him. All went well and then at our Ward party they were totally excited to go see him! And they each told him 1 thing they wanted for Christmas. Lillie just stared of course, but that's better than crying! And at one point I caught Damon back up there smiling his sneaky smile as he stood behind Santa touching his white hair ;) Silly boy.

Christmas is my favorite holiday and the only one I decorate for. But I didn't take my normal picts of my decorations this year. I think I was too wiped out. But here is our tree!

I collect cute snowmen. And I can't get enough of them!

Cherry has discovered that she loves my boots, and Damon had to show off his, well you can see, as well :)

Sometimes this kid does the funniest things. His mind is so creative and I love it!

Look out Woody!!!!

Lillie is learning to walk. ALREADY!! She is 10 1/2 months now in case you have lost track.

She has also become a runner! Do NOT underestimate this turbo engine. She may be tiny but she is all speed!

Christmas Sunday was great (again, Daddy had to work). Lots of family came to hear me sob my way through my song I sang. Don't worry I finished strong! And I was in lots of great group numbers. It was a beautiful meeting. The kids were all dressed up in their Christmas clothes. I love these babies so very much.

We made fun goodies at Grandma Finley's. Rudolph cupcakes were awesome!

I spent 2 days making way too many Christmas goodies to be good for my diet :)

Christmas Eve was wonderful. Aside from James having to work. I had his parents over for our traditional Christmas Eve Dinner. Split Pea soup with Ham. DIVINE!

The kids opened 1 gift. Coordinating PJ's of course!

Then I tucked them in and they went fast asleep in anticipation for Santa!

Ok, ok, they stayed up waaay too late. But I tried! And poor Cherry came down with a fever and woke up throwing up at midnight.

Christmas Day came and we enjoyed our morning together as a family before Dad was back off to work :( Booooo!!! Ok, I had to say it.
The kids were so excited over their gifts!
