We had a very mellow, and laid back 4th of July. James worked the morning. I laid around too nauseated to take the kids anywhere :)
So that night to make up for it we hit up the Sandy City parade, (I swear it was twice as long as last years). But, the kids had fun trying to collect taffy.
Then we capped the night off with fireworks of the whole valley from the hill of Library. Another unsuccessful evening with the kids. Braddock was cranky, so James took him home. The other 3 kids would not sit still, and Lillie and Damon fell asleep before they even started. So we headed out early too.
Next year, we watch whatever is viewable from our home. Ha ha.
This kid was NOT part of the parade. Pretty sure no one took up his "free kisses" either. LOL
Do you ever feel holidays are just another chore of a day with little kids? I sure do!
