My big man is 5!!!!

Happy Birthday Damon!!!!

Yep, yesterday was the Big D's 5th Birthday!!!

5 years! Really? Where did my baby boy go?

Damon is such a source of laughter in our home. He is hilarious. Things he says, and does. His personality, his little quirks. I'd give examples but I am so tired right now my brain is no longer functioning!

He is a complete HAM.

And he is the SWEETEST boy I have ever met.

He just flashes me that huge grin with cheeks you just wanna pinch!

And I am sold on anything he wants :)

Every day he asks me to draw him a shark. And he is very specific on which kind he wants that day. Hammerhead, Great White, Megaladon, Basking, etc etc. Then we get on the internet to find pictures to use as examples and I draw and cut him out a shark. If this isn't asked of me and done first thing (before breakfast), I will hear about it all day until it's done :) I don't mind at all though, it's our little Mom son moment and I love it. He loves watching "wild kratts" on tv. He is obsessed and completely fascinated by animals. Especially ocean life.  He LOVES transformers. Both old and new.  His favorite game to play with dad, and guess who wins? :)

He is an amazing Little Brother. Still best friends with Cherry.

And an protective and fun Big Brother to Lillie.

He absolutely ADORES his new baby brother.

His favorite is having Braddock suck on his face when he's hungry :)

I think Braddock may have gotten some chocolate here :) hee hee

 

We had a great birthday, filled with Dinosaurs, Wii Mater game (Cars), and cake and balloons!

His Grandma Hanson took him to Build A Bear where he made a scuba gear bunny.

And what 5 year old boys birthday would be complete without a meltdown?!?!

ha ha ha haaaaa

Don't worry, he cheered up!
