Happy 2 Years Braddock!

Two years ago our sweet and spunky little Braddock Dean joined our family. 

He has become a constant source of entertainment for all of us.  From his loud and outgoing and hilarious personality, to the epic two year old tantrums!  He is talking like crazy and if he doesn't know the word you get a very distinct "nng" and "mm' sound.  He is ALL about cars and trucks.  To the point of driving you crazy when driving in a car as he freaks out over everything he sees out the window :)  He loves loving on his baby brother.  He loves to think he is one of the big kids and does whatever they do.  He is crazy smart.  His favorite is to put together the truck puzzles on my phone.  

His smile and laugh... they are more infectious than ever

It took a minute to figure the whole gift opening thing out.

He found it necessary to hand me every little scrap of paper he tore off.

He has this funny little thing he does.  Maybe a tad OCD? He lines up all of his cars in a perfect line.  Even rearranges them in order of size.  No one showed him this.  He just does it.

His birthday wasn't complete without his cake!  CAT trucks of course!  Candy rocks and all...

Happy Birthday Lillie! {4 Yrs}

Our sweet little Lils has turned 4 years old! 

Seriuosly where is the time going?

Lillie you are an absolute light in our home.  Your sweet little high pitched voice and big brown doe eyes have everyone melted.

You have are such a sweet, feisty, tender, nurturing, creative girl.  

Every single day brings laughs and smiles from you. 

You want nothing more than to please your mom and dad and make us happy.  You are constantly making gifts for all your siblings.  You may be just 4 yrs old, but sometimes it seems as though you are 4 going on 8.  Such a bright and beautiful sweet girl.

We adore you and love you so much!

Your birthday wouldn't be complete with out Tangled! You LOVE Tangled.  You watch the movie a few times a week, you wear her costume EVERY day (yes, I have even caught you sleeping in it!)

Damon, 6 years old!

Damon celebrated his 6th birthday on May 12.

 

He is growing up so much right before our eyes.  I swear, he started kindergarten and went from being my little man, to my big man.

He is STILL obsessed with sharks.  More than Transformers at this point, but he still loves those too.  Everyday I am asked to draw and cut out some species of shark for him.

He had a bit of a set back with his illness keeping him from school for a month.  But he is reading like a champ, spelling pretty dang well, and his counting is impeccable! He really enjoys school.  He has so many friends, and loves to go and learn.   Everyday when I pick him up I ask him what he learned today.  For the first couple of months it was "nothing".  This kid kills me.  Now he tells me about the books they read, the math they do.  He loves showing me his sentences they write and the pictures they draw.  I love seeing him grow up.

Happy Birthday Damon! You will forever be my sweet little boy.

Braddocks 1st Birthday, Part 1

I still hate admitting that our sweet little baby is officially a year old.  It makes me sad how fast it goes by.  Braddock is an absolute dream of a baby.  We are so in love with him!  Not just me, Daddy is smitten and the kids still can't get enough of him a year later!

 

His birthday was so much fun.  He is such a funny little guy. 

 

We started by taking some pictures to document his day. Of course ;)

 

He wasn't so tolerant when it came to sitting with the other kids. 

 

But we still managed!

He had no idea what to do with his present.  I even made it easy by using a bag and tissue paper! Daddy still had to shake it out for him. (notice him leaning away?)

But once he saw what came out he got excited!

Oh man, I love his big beautiful green eyes!

He LOVED being sung to. 

But then stumbled a little, and we had a cupcake casualty. Daddy saved him.  But don't worry! There was plenty to go around still. 

 

 

 

 

 And the messiest he got was where he kept squishing the cupcake with his legs. Silly boy.
