Sorry I have been so MIA lately! I have SO much to catch up on. Didn't I do this last month too? ha haaa
So, to get us started, I literally just finished this room today. It turned into a 3 day project and the rest of my house is suffering greatly. No, really. I'd take a picture of my upstairs living room but it is that embarrassing! Thank you 2 year old and coca pebbles.
Alrighty, moving on!
My new pride and joy...
My office.
It's looked like this since we moved in. All the extras keep getting thrown in here. To the point I could barely get to the computer. Let me tell you how fun it is to edit for hours in it! NOT.
Corner #1: Before
Now it looks like this:
The "work" area: Before
Now turned into:
I know right?!?!!? Seriously SO excited about this room!
My pride and joy- the desk.
I finished painting the room, and then it was like a nasty eye sore that oozes puss. Ewwwwww
so it took me two days of painting, and a lot of elbow grease to sand and distress it. Worth every second!
Before: sort of at the beginning of the contemplating process :)
Ta Da!!!:
I love the beach. Always have. I have collected items from places I've lived and visited, and even a beautiful shell basket hanging my oldest brother brought me from Brazil. The office just seemed like the perfect place for a soothing ocean view.... I wonder how mad the owners would be if I put sand in instead of carpet... :) JK!
My favorite old picture. Me as a baby with my Grandma and Grandpa
A place to hang my photo gear
Some details:
It is an office after all. So there MUST be a place for a gallery- which will soon house my favorite images I have captured. I need more frames!
Yep. This is my new Oasis. Now to get the door back on so I can lock the kids out :) hee hee
