Braddocks 1st Birthday, Part 1

I still hate admitting that our sweet little baby is officially a year old.  It makes me sad how fast it goes by.  Braddock is an absolute dream of a baby.  We are so in love with him!  Not just me, Daddy is smitten and the kids still can't get enough of him a year later!

 

His birthday was so much fun.  He is such a funny little guy. 

 

We started by taking some pictures to document his day. Of course ;)

 

He wasn't so tolerant when it came to sitting with the other kids. 

 

But we still managed!

He had no idea what to do with his present.  I even made it easy by using a bag and tissue paper! Daddy still had to shake it out for him. (notice him leaning away?)

But once he saw what came out he got excited!

Oh man, I love his big beautiful green eyes!

He LOVED being sung to. 

But then stumbled a little, and we had a cupcake casualty. Daddy saved him.  But don't worry! There was plenty to go around still. 

 

 

 

 

 And the messiest he got was where he kept squishing the cupcake with his legs. Silly boy.

We love you our little muchkin!!! Happy First Birthday!

10 Months

What can I say, this adorable little man still has every single person in this house wrapped around his little fingers!

The most happy go lucky baby. EVER.

Who loves to play with his toes still, and bites EVERYTHING. The kids have quickly learned not to lay on the floor when he is crawling around :)  He has tooth #7 coming in. More than double the teeth any of the other kids a this age.

He loves to stand and yell to compete with the siblings.

 

My sister in law pointed out that he looks a little like pee wee herman here. Umm, a little? LOL!

He loves his little puppy, not so much for snuggling, but for chewing on.

He still has the sweetest disposition.  He loves to give wet sloppy loves. And if you pull away he will grab your face and keep giving them.

but when it comes to this little man of mine, my posts tend to be an overload of pictures :)

Braddock turned 7 months old on the 16th. I am a bit behind in posting! Ok, only 2 weeks behind. (It could be worse)

He is still a ridiculously happy, giggly, bubbly baby who is constantly making us smile and laugh. He sits up, he rolls wherever he wants, he is starting to figure out crawling(Lord have mercy!), he laughs anytime he sees himself in a mirror or in a picture. He is just now being introduced to solid foods. I'm not sure he appreciates it. At all. But I can't blame him after all the drama with my milk supply. Speaking of which, his last nursing was the day he turned 7 months. I am just now getting to where I am ok with it. I miss it, I won't lie. But I am focusing on myself and getting fit again, and losing the 14 lbs I gained trying to amp up my supply. SO far so good. 3.6 more to go to get where I was!

I meant to take these at 6 months. I like to do "repeats" of my baby's newborn sessions with me. But 7 months works :)



This is why. I love comparing how much they grow!  He has changed SO much over the last 7 months

A special Blessing

It seems like it took forever. Postponed when he was just 6 weeks old, because he was hospitalized. Postponed again when he was 3 months old due to my mothers horrific accident.

Finally at 6.5 months old, our special, sweet baby boy was blessed. The day was as beautiful as can be.

He is crazy for baths!

Ya, he's a mommas boy for sure :)  And still completely attacks me with kisses.  And I love every wet sloppy drenched part of it!

I mean really? REALLY? Oh come on, you can never say no to that face!

I am so in love with my family! It really is what this life is all about.  And this aesome day was a beautiful reminder. Life is precious. Eat it up.  Every second of it.

A little of This n' That

So in an attempt to catch up... things are going to be a tad random and out of order for the next few posts. So enjoy! :)

Back in the middle of June we moved.  And my sweet father in law and his fiance sent us a house welcoming gift.  Cutest thing ever! Not to mention how good it tasted!

I had a creative hair day with Cherry.  She has the thickest friggin hair.  No worries about her going bald!

Braddock is in the awesome stage, where he is watching and trying to mimic sounds and faces.  He is the happiest baby.  The chubbiest thing I have ever had! And an absolute doll.
